I have lived in St Stephen-in-Brannel for 25 years and feel passionately about my local community. I have served as a member of the Parish Council for over 12 years. I am currently standing for both the Parish Council and Cornwall council in the next election.

I began my working career as a Royal Marine and following an injury spent many years in financial services. Before I retired I worked as a housing officer and also a training officer in the health and care sector.

I I have a broad experience of many walks of life.  If I am elected my concern will be the current state of the Cornwall budget and how we once again balance the books. In addition there are several issues that are very close to my heart. We have a local housing crisis. Issues with planning and development. Problems with social care and the pressures on the NHS.

At a local level I have served in a variety of roles including vice chairman. As the chair of planning for the last two years. I was an active member of the Neighbourhood Development Plan committee which took eight years to complete.

if elected I will call upon all my experience to represent my local community to the very best of my ability.
